Q. Can you collect on the same day?A. Occasionally, same-day collection is possible, but we highly recommend booking in advance due to our busy schedule.

Q. Can I leave it on my drive for you?A. Ideally, do not leave items on your drive as we operate on scheduled collections. Leaving items out could lead to theft, and you also risk fines if unlicensed individuals pick up the items. We suggest placing the items out of sight but accessible. Rest assured, we always make sure to close the gates behind us!

Q. Can you take my fridge or freezer for free?A. We cannot take fridges or freezers for free since they are considered hazardous waste, and scrap yards won't accept them. We do, however, offer a disposal service for these items. Please visit our Fridge & Freezer Disposal page for complete details.

Q. Will you buy my scrap for cash?A. Paying cash for scrap has been illegal since the 2013 Scrap Dealers Act. While we offer a free collection service and cover our costs through the scrap value, we may consider purchasing large quantities of non-ferrous metals like lead, copper, or brass. Please contact us directly for such transactions.

Q. Do you have the right licenses?A. We hold multiple council Scrap Collectors Licenses and an Environment Agency Upper-tier Waste Carriers license, which are necessary for collecting scrap metals. If we are not licensed for your area, we will politely decline the job or recommend someone who can assist.
