Trading Payne's are registered waste carriers with the Environment Agency (CBDU133459) and licensed with Ipswich Borough Council, Suffolk Coastal District Council, and Babergh and Mid Suffolk District & Chelmsford Councils as scrap metal collectors. We ensure the professional and safe collection of scrap with all items collected either being re-used or disposed of responsibly. We now also offer 'man & van' services for house moves and also general waste clearance services. So, if you have an old washer to get rid of or want to clear out the garage, we're the team to call.

Please note we cannot take beer kegs, gas bottles, or shopping trollies as they remain the property of the business who provided them.

We can take old steel car wheels, however if they have tyres on them there is a surcharge of £3.00 per tyre disposal.

We can collect Tv's for disposal now, however a £29.99 fee applies as they are considered as hazardous waste.

Card payments are accepted. For more information about collection in Ipswich, Woodbridge, Felixstowe, Hadleigh and the surrounding areas, give us a call.
We also collect old fridges or freezers for recycling. 
Please note that there is a charge of £24.99 per domestic unit fridge/freezer to cover the charges to us as they cannot be scrapped as scrap metal, please contact us for a discount for mutiple units. A waste transfer notice will be supplied for every fridge or freezer collection to ensure confidence of disposal in the correct manner. Some collections further away can be discussed, a small fuel surcharge may be applied to cover costs.
