It is illegal to pay cash for scrap since the 2013 scrap dealers act came into force, as we offer a free service our costs are covered from the scrap value of what we collect, however we may buy non-ferrous metals such as Lead, Copper or Brass if you have a large quantity, please contact us directly in this case.
Yes, we hold a number of council Scrap Collectors Licences and a environment Agency Upper-tier Waste Carriers licence (Both are required to collect Scrap Metals) If we are not licenced for your area we will politely decline the job or offer a reccomendation of someone who can.
